Hi,

I'm really into OS, and just starting to learn about it now. The goal is to write a simple gui OS (some simple windows here and there). I've been following this series and its really great. While waiting for a new tutorial coming out, I want to find a good book on OS Development to read.

I wanna ask if anyone knows any good OS Development books that will work me through writing a simple gui OS (from ground up I think).

I wonder when we will have a tutorial on graphics in this series.
