Spam

Post by _ross_ » Thu Nov 05, 2009 9:23 pm

To prevent this spam from having an effect, you could maybe disable signatures for anyone whos not a moderator, or has below a certain number of posts?, or maybe use a captcha on registration so they can't spam in the first place as well(I suppos it only helps wiht bots......., and annoys us all though :( )?"

Yeah, it's like Mike has "died" (figuratively). This isn't good. Hmm... maybe we could start our own forums?

Hello,

I am still around and watching the forums. We have recently employed several changes that appears to have resolved most of the spam problems that the site has been experiencing.
