Hello Raynesax, I myself also use linux and I use this code to put my bootloader on a floppy: dd if=boot.bin bs=512 of=/dev/fd0 I DO have a floppy drive thats what this code is aimed for! Hello Ryan, I would suggest you to wait before going graphical. What I would do is implement multitasking and a heap like jarvix said. A GUI hehe that sounds like a great idea but i am not skilled enough to code one i have to admit. All i wanted to do is initialise VESA in real mode and then do the drawing in C like show a simple boot logo and tada thats it.
